I went to Poway and the Fleet Sales guy is a douche! Went to Escondido and the Fleet Sales was awesome! It took Poway a week to respond to see if we can change color on a DCSB Sport. Did not seem like he wasnted to help. I'll always go to the salesman who gives me the respect that it is my money... I was actually looking at the DCSB and he called back a day later and asked how I felt about a long bed as he has a red one with build date 8/19. at that time he put my name on it while he was still looking at changing the color of the short bed.
Might see you around there!!! :)

Now did you get the pricing yet for yours? I saw my build date on the screen, and I have the two pages that show what all is on it and the vin#, etc, but the price shows zero. lol

Just put my 500 on a DC SR5 V-6 4x2 with tow package sr5 appearance package and floor mats. Arrival date of 9/15/15 in magnetic gray. Wanted the blue but they showed none coming in without 4x4 anytime soon so gray was my second option. Price was around 29895 give or take a few.

Same here. No price yet. He has been checking the sheet to see if they update the price.

I'll probably hit him up again on Monday since the truck rolled off the assembly line 2 days ago. Usually takes a couple days to update once that happens. At least that was the case when I had the wifes Jeep Sahara built a few years back.

Man I'm jealous of all this. The wait is killing me. The Florida Gulf Coast must sell 2 per year. That or they are unwilling to order anything until they receive pricing for everything. I have not heard a peep from my dealer. Shouldn't they at least have an idea of when their first allocation will hit the lot? Anyone else in this area?

You shouldn't have to get one that was allocated to your dealer. Mine wasn't and they claimed and rerouted the allocation to here for me.

I don't know how all that works but can they just steal another dealers allocated vehicle? I thought it was more of a trading system. As in, we will be allocated this vehicle at this point in time...let's just switch it with this one to get you the one you want.

I'm pretty sure that's how it works. Mine originally was going like 2400 miles away. lol I'm not sure all dealerships can do it, though.

    Dude. You stole my truck.

I just feel like my dealer should know a little more.

On their allocation list there was specific trucks labeled "do not trade" meaning they could not trade those vehicles with other dealers.
    Rodeho,
Get the model # for the one you are looking for. Mine was 7148A for a DCLB TRD Sport 4x2. Have the Fleet Sales guy look it up. All dealerships got the Allocation list at the beginning of Aug. If they are not getting one then have them search or build you one.
Prior to me giving the Fleet Sales guy the number, they had no clue. Was surprised when they entered it in the computer and the list popped up.

NOTE: All the Taco Model numbers for 2016 have changed.

I don't know if all dealerships can even do it. Mine checked the entire list for all trucks coming out of the factory to find one I wanted. Not just the ones they were getting. Looks like I saved mine from going to the midwest or something. lol

Yea mine was done with one of the managers but he couldn't look at the allocation. You had to have a certain PIN number to access it so he had to defer to another manager to look for it. Mine was headed to Oklahoma. Now it's headed to south Texas.

Yeah I had to wait a day for the manager to get in to actually reallocate it for me. I was sweating it out praying it wasn't already claimed. haha

Nice! You would think all dealers have access to that information.

Somebody at the dealership can do it. Just need to find who that person is!

Don't feel bad. Dealers here in Jacksonville don't know anything either. I told them other people were ordering\reserving allocated 2016's already and they just looked baffled.
