Just put $1,000 down yesterday to reserve my DCLB OR 4x4 but no pricing yet either. Ordered from Kermit at Gladstone Toyota in Gladstone, Oregon. He's been great to work with!

Thats pretty much the response I am getting. Clueless and lazy is all it seems to be. In such a small market I just feel stuck. Considering I have already reached out to two of the other dealers within 60 miles of me and have received practically the same response.

What region are you in? This the exact model I want and was told there was none coming to AZ in the first allocation. At least it seems like.they are making one for some place.

I find it interesting that some have to put down 500, and others 1000. Is that just a dealer thing?

Yes. Most require a $500 minimum deposit.

I'm in Northern California. Going through Stevens Creek Toyota -- I've been working with a guy there for awhile now. I've got a price, a VIN, and no need to put a deposit down. Originally, the build was going to be Gun Metal Gray, I wanted white, they were able to change it.

I asked about a deposit, he basically said - "well, if you don't want it I will have no problems selling it".

Thanks. At least you were given a price. That seems rare. My sales guy will not give me price yet.

I put 0 down. My dealer told me if I don't want it he'll put it on the lot and it'll sell

My father in law plans on ordering a AC OR with the 6AT in white next week. His wife works for one of the Toyota plants, so they have an actual ordering system for it. Unfortunately, placing an order through that system means a 4 month wait!

I am ordering mine through that system as well. Have to wait 3 to 6 months but can order anything I want on it. Best part is I just pick it up at work.

I was glad to put down the money. I wouldn't have felt confident in the truck actually being held as mine otherwise. I only had to do 500 and now I have receipts that I actually pre-ordered something.

I am looking forward to people actually owning or at least test driving one. There was a blurb in one of the test videos I watched(auto blog?? I think) that really has me concerned. The tester said he is 6'1" and with the new seating position his head was up against the roof. I don't give a hoot about power seats but at 6'3" I do car about being able to fit in the thing. I have been all in with the new gen but this one has me worried

Go get that shit! Just don't order a DCSB OR MGM in manual.

My dealer will be receiving a phone call today. I'm done being patient.

As long as the money is refundable, I wouldn't mind either way. I'm confident my dealer is holding for me. He frequently updates me on the status of my truck. I live in a very unpopulated area. There will probably be unsold 2016s on the lot right away
