I'm having an issue with my 3rd generation tacoma throwing an evap code during the winter months. I've taken it to the dealer and they always say that I'm not tightening the gas cap enough and just clear the code and send me on my way. It only does this when it gets really cold, which is pretty common where I live. So I end up living all winter without cruise and traction control all winter. Anybody else have this problem? What is the fix?

P.S I always make sure I tighten my cap till it clicks.

Try soaking your gas cap gasket or O ring in TransX or power steering fluid with seal expander in it. Working so far with mine. Or just replace upgrade to locking gas cap.
