Anything over 5% dissatisfaction rate is pretty high if you ask me. ESPECIALLY on an "enthusiast" forum.

I'll add a negative just cuz no one really has yet but it really isn't that big...

I had my third brake light leak water into my cabin as some have had stated on the forums. I found mine before it become a waterfall like others I've seen on here. But toyota fixed it immediately once the parts came in.

Otherwise I'm happy. No recalls or funny sounds as of yet for 5k miles.

Nope, no way my truck has been very disappointing and to top it off when I try to trade it in with chevy or ford I am getting low numbers from dealers because they say there onto the poor quality issues from the new tacoma, and with all of the recalls this truck is not demanding the same sales prices despite what they are listed for at toyota dealers used. It is all a big game and toyota really dropped the ball on this new truck!

I rarely post anymore. I use to get annoyed with Smitty but now I fully understand where his frustrations stem from with this generation.

16 OR DCSB here. Leaky diff (still not fixed will go in for repairs in two months). They re torque and check it every month. Told the gasket is back ordered.

No other issues. Still annoying for a 36,000$ truck with 9,000 miles. I limit my driving (100-150 miles per week) to minimize any internal premature wear even though the fluid has been checked and it's not actively leaking now.

Had to deal with corporate because the OR was "not covered under recall" but was covered under warranty.

A cps and a seal for a recall ? ALL the recalls ?
Sure doesn't beat the brake problems on F-150's.

Gonna say it like I always do no regrets buying the Tacoma, its not big and powerful like the bigger truck but its not really supposed to be. Better value for the money then some trucks in the same class and I haven't had any of the problems that some people have.

Just curious, you said in Post #45 that Sales are what is Accurate, would that same logic not apply to the F150 and Silverado too?

Exactly. It's all bar beer talk. All vehicles have problems. To say the Taco is down for two minor recalls is ridiculous and a waste to even discuss.
If you would rather have a upper control arm disconnect, a complete brake failure, or a cps fail, go for it.
I'll take a sweating seal over complete brake failure or upper control arm disconnect.
And ford dealer says Taco has issues ?
