Judging by your post history, you must have everyone IL'd
Also, you must be a blast at parties.

There's "sharing negative experiences" which I have no problem with, have had a few of my own in all my trucks, and there's repeating the same complaints in every thread by the same people turning it into a shitstorm that I get tired of.

Regardless, in this very thread I mentioned I had issues in all my trucks, 3Rd gen has been the least problematic, never regretted purchasing any of them.

Hopefully, first, you take a bit of time to formulate some cohesive thoughts and sentence structure before another bout of keyboard-diarrhea. Although I can agree with some of your sentiment, that post was painful to read.

Sorry you are having problems. Welcome to TW! As you can see by this informal poll you are in the vast minority as most here love their Tacoma but hey, if it makes you feel better to complain on a message board go right ahead! It would probably be more beneficial to continue to complain to Toyota since none of us can do anything for you. As far as influencing future customers Toyota is actually expanding production of the Tacoma by 30% because they are so popular. I'm sure you got a lemon but most got problem free trucks. If you have any specific questions please start a thread on them and maybe someone can help you out. Again, welcome!

Not sure if it does or not, but this guy took it in before recall and the part was being fixed under warranty.

    Barbecue Ribs
    Bethany T.

"I almost didn't want to share this ribs recipe because this is one of the dishes that I make that keep my sons coming back home! These can be done with baby back or regular pork ribs. I have also made split chickens this way. The ribs are tender, moist and just slide off of the bone. I know that your family will love them just as much as my family does. I noticed that some are unable to find hickory smoked salt. You can use smoked paprika or just brush the ribs with liquid smoke before applying the rub. The smoke flavor is nice because it helps give the ribs a cooked-on-the-grill flavor. Also, the easiest way to remove the membrane is to work a spoon, or I use the tips of my kitchen shears, into the bottom center of the membrane, work it back and forth to form a "pocket," then I slide my thumbs in and work the membrane off from the center outward to the ends."

    INGREDIENTS
    DIRECTIONS
    1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees f.
    2. Peel off tough membrane that covers the bony side of the ribs.
    3. Mix together the sugar and spices to make the rub.
    4. Apply rub to ribs on all sides.
    5. Lay ribs on two layers of foil, shiny side out and meaty side down.
    6. Lay two layers of foil on top of ribs and roll and crimp edges tightly, edges facing up to seal.
    7. Place on baking sheet and bake for 2-2 1/2 hours or until meat is starting to shrink away from the ends of the bone.
    8. Remove from oven.
    9. Heat broiler.
    10. Cut ribs into serving sized portions of 2 or 3 ribs.
    11. Arrange on broiler pan, bony side up.
    12. Brush on sauce.
    13. Broil for 1 or 2 minutes until sauce is cooked on and bubbly.
    14. Turn ribs over.
    15. Repeat on other side.
    16. Alternately, you can grill the ribs on your grill to cook on the sauce.
READY IN 3 hrs 15 mins

this is my 1st 2017 TRD Pro Taco and Toyota, I am not brand loyal, had 3 Wranglers, 2 Nissan's, Benz AMG, F150. I love the Taco so far, I do not regret my purchase one bit I got what I wanted out of a Midsized truck and more, could it use a little more low end grunt sure, but I love the truck either way. I have not had one issue besides a tire blow out, trans shifty smoothly and plenty of power. Out of all the brand's I owned so far Toyota Mid-sized Trucks and Ford Full Sized trucks are the best.

The people that I find bitching the most about the power are the one's hooking up long and heavy travel trailers and loading it to near max weight to a small mid sized pickup expecting full sized pickup power, or the snowflakes that are in love with their 1st and 2nd gens and read about a few issues with the 3rd gens and make it a point to bash it until they make their point known. Are there some lemon Taco's out there sure there is, its bound to happen humans make errors hell I had 2 lemon Nissans, and there are thousands of people who never had issues whatsoever

Mines been in the shop for the last three weeks with an AC blower fan on backorder, and I STILL chose satisfied.
    Love this frickin truck.

Edit: and, I haven't needed the 4X4, and won't need it until October so it's miles on a loaner instead of my truck until then...

    Another "yes" here.

Having owned Chevy and Dodge trucks before, I am satisfied the Tacoma was the best choice of all the mid-size trucks on the market at the time I made the purchase.

The most satisfying is that I waited to join TW until after I owned the truck.

The forum is really informative and fun, but I know if I had been lurking here before making the purchase, I would be driving a Frontier.

Not that there is anything wrong with the Frontier, but I just flat out enjoy driving the Taco.

    Every day.

Self report studies tend to be pretty unreliable for a variety of reasons, so I would disagree that it is biased in any particular direction. Also, there are plenty of us who spent nowhere close to 40k on our third gens, and have nothing to justify about our purchase.

And I just gave you the 2 most frequent reasons why they are unreliable...lol. $25k or $45k it makes no difference the point still stands and it's not an opinion, it's a fact...it happens, it's literally in psych 101. Most of the people doing it don't realize it. Self-awareness is in short supply these days.

Yup you nailed it, you and the minority of unsatisfied owners are the only ones who REALLY get it and are so noble for admitting you don't like your truck, and those of us who DO like our trucks are a bunch of rubes with our fingers in our ears going la la la. Got it.

Are you a psychiatrist? I took multiple years of physics but I'm not a physicist. I took law and econ too but, again, I'm not a lawyer or an economist.
Some of us are old enough to not worry about vanity or justification lol. Trust me... If I didn't like the truck I sure as hell wouldn't be here talking about it or wishing it were better. I would just get something I liked and move on.

I'm the same way. If I get a vehicle I don't like or no longer fits my needs, I trade it in for something else. To be honest, I usually don't do too bad on it either and rarely lose much money at all.

People like Smitty and Hutch have way too much time on their hands. Hell, Hutch doesn't even have a tacoma anymore. And Smitty hates his truck yet refuses to trade it in and prefers to spend his time complaining online.

If I wasn't satisfied with a purchase, I would move on. Not spend my time on an online forum complaining about it.

My opinion, if you hate your truck and want to post about it anywhere and everywhere, that is your prerogative.

Kinda sucks for everyone who doesn't, but that is the way the forum is.

Seeing members being perma-banned for being "douches", well that is just plain tradgedy for all of us.....because "douche" is a term that could be painted with a pretty broad or narrow brush, depending where you are in the food chain....
