3rd generation Tacoma photo

Sorry to say but I don't believe it. Nor do I believe that video.

 

I'd love to have it. So definitely stoked.

I personaly think it looks a lil sweet, I like a little rigidness to the body. In all reallity a new gen taco would look similar to this (following the new 4runner style and carrying over styling cues to other models which most, if not all, auto companys do) or it will look just like a Toyota "Hilux" like in Europe and Asia. I kinda like the Hilux too but kinda looks bloated, like a tundra....

Just my opinion....

 

Angle of the windshield appears different. From the one interior shot the A piller is completely different. Leads me to assume the interior was re-designed, with the 4Runner as inspiration.

 

Anyone else notice that the White Tacoma has 05-08 tail lights but a "2012" front end? I call BS

yup....to me it's going to be old footage from back then...(that part only) but it seems pretty legit that they would only give it a facelift just like the 1st gen

And that supposedly interior shot...its not even a Tacoma...if u watch the rest of the vid u see that it still has the same mirrors n in that shot they where smaller sharp looking mirrors

 

Saw those pre-'08 tail lamps on that white pickup as well. Wtf?

 

This is getting as bad as the iphone 5 rumors

 

I say the mods should create a Tacoma Generation 2.5 category for threads so we don't keep

 

ha thats actually not a rumor. was at apple store yesterday and put a deposit on one. en of sept/first of oct is release date

 

So they did nothing but put the 08 LED lights back on and change the headlights grill and foglights....Cool beans still a second gen to me.

 

Im sure the trucks in this video are not production ready

 

dang...you guys are good with that photo shop stuff...but as i was looking at a 4runner in wally world's parking lot,i was thinking ........."hmmmm,maybe that's the new direction for the next taco"hopefully no one from toyota design saw this...you've done their job for them..i like it
