Being new to the Tacoma World I've noticed that a lot of 2nd generation accessories are divided between 05 to 11 Tacos and 12+ Tacos. Is there enough of a difference that 2012+ Tacomas would be classified as 3rd Generation?

The only things that were difference were on the exterior. Nothing else had changed on the 2012, 2013 models. So no, it's still 2nd Generation, at least hear on TW. That doesn't signify a new generation.

No. if that were the case the "redesign" in 09 would have been 3rd gen and this would be 4th gen, so either way it would not be 3rd

Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
you crack me up with some of your posts..

and btw no.. Deffinately not 3rd gen..

if that were the case we would be on at least 4th gen taco

that would make it 5th gen, with the 02-04 facelift.
