Haven't measured, but there is plenty of space. I get some occasional rubbing on fender stuff when braking + turning. I had a LOT of rubbing with the same tires on -10 wheels.

Is it just me or does anyone else like the look of wheels with no center caps?

Just bought a set of 17 in wheels with a 12 mm negative offset wrapped in 265 70 17s, would I need to worry about rubbing on the front end, the truck is at the stock ride height and it is not lifted, I was reading online on some other form that the biggest tire you can go with a 17 inch rim is a 265 70 but I wasn't sure if that was altered by the offset of the wheel itself

I ran -12 offset on some pro comp 69s they were 16" but I think you should be fine. They do provide a nice offset look. Heads up it will affect your negative camber.

Picked up a set of 17x9 wheels with a negative 12 offset, wrapped in 265 70 17s, had a bit of rubbing on the front part of the wheel well along with on the mud flaps not a lot, just a tiny bit. And I didn't feel like modifying the pickup to make the wheels fit . So I ordered a set of 265 65 17s for it. Hopefully they will fit. They're the same wheel and tire combination that Toyota uses for their TRD sport Tacoma

I have that tire size with a -10mm offset. They rub in the rear of the front wheel wells when turning into driveways. I'm sure they'd rub a lot if you do any sort of real four wheeling. I'm in the middle of doing a 2" lift on mine right now.

I mainly use my truck at my family's farm whenever taken down trees and such . But since they were rubbing and I didn't want to modify the truck and any sort of way because it's still under warranty. I ordered a set of 265 65 17s which is the same wheel and tear combination that is on the TRD sport. If I'm not mistaken because the wheel itself as a 17x9, but the only thing is it has a negative 12 offset . When I first did a test fit with the 265 70 17s they were only rubbing a bit on the front part of the wheel well and on the mud flap but only at about half turn. When you turned it full lock it was clear. So I ordered a set of 265 65 17s. So I get the clearance that I need without modifying the truck

I have the same offset wheels with 265/65-17 tires, and I don't have any rub at all at stock height.

It's a shorter tire than the 70 he mentioned. ;)

By how much will affect my camera, will I need to get an alignment again. Right now on the OEM wheels my camber is around I believe negative.2 or negative.1. negative.1 also, is there any risk of premature wear on the suspension or wheel bearings?

Picked up a set of 17x9s with a negative 12 offset wrapped in 265 70 17s, it was clear on the upper control arm but a little bit of rubbing on the mud flaps and the front part of the wheel well liner. Not a lot, just a tiny bit. So I ordered a set of 265 65 17 . When I bought the wheels they already came with the tires wrapped on them. I did not buy the wheels and tire separate
