Thanks! I will have to look into this. not interested in a winch mount. just something to protect the front end. looks like this may work.

 

Don't know how it would handle a large impact, but for minor dings etc I'm sure it will do great. I think there is a discount of sorts happening now as well.

Not worried about a large impact. I tapped(very lightly) a pole with my tundra and creased the chrome bumper years ago and I just want to help protect the front of my new toy. They do offer a $50 discount on checkout with a code from this site.

@C4 Fabrication are the bumper support brackets needed with this bumper? Description says "extreme" winching situations...what would that be compared to normal winching?

 

no they aren't required. Basically we offer them for people who are really doing a lot of heavy duty off roading and use their winch frequently. The factory bumper mounts on the front of the frame aren't very heavy duty, so we recommend the bumper support brackets if you use your winch a lot.
If you just happen to use it every once and a while to pull yourself out of the ditch on a slippery road, then you wouldn't need them.

A Rear Bumper that will support the factory BSM will be a significant selling point for some. Many Tacos have the Tech package and in my case, I have a wife who can't drive and needs/wants BSM so its a pain trying to find a decent offroad bumper that is compatible.

 

Yeah for me to buy a new rear bumper it'll have to have a way to allow the BSM to work
