    Just bring her with you. What better way to celebrate an anniversary than to take a trip up to the cool canyons in the middle of summer? Then find a nice restaurant in Heber, Provo, Park City, or Salt Lake (whatever area means something to both of you) for dinner.

    Of course with a month old baby, that might be a bit complicated to talk her into, specially if its her first.

    Been reading a bit about some of the things to do in American Fork Canyon, and it really seems like it can be a fun place to go.

    http://www.utahwest.com/truck/amerfork.htm Miller Hill. Granted that this trail may be more than some are willing to travel due to potential damage, but if that POS Mitsubishi with a/t tires and no lift can do it... This is the type of stuff I'd really be interested in visiting if anyone has been up there before.

Speeking of wheelin I went up to cache valley with a bunch of jeep ckeroke guys we did providence canyon up to the top of Mt Logan it was pretty rocky but the taco showed them who was boss.

    American Fork Canyon has alot to offer, I'm very experienced with it. Forest Lake is a great place to go up there, though I doubt it's 2x4 friendly. If you want an amazing steak dinner and are planning on going over the mountain and into Heber, check out the Claim Jumper Steakhouse! http://www.claimjumperutah.com/heber.html

    Put me down as a maybe, we'll see how I feel personally about leaving my wife for the day... She is more than supportive of me going, but I always feel bad in these situations

    I'm going up today and will time it granted when we all go it'll take more time for the frequent stops and all but the trail is kinda a wide road but gets very tight in some spots but farely good road just rarely driving on or taking care of...

    i will explore to find more fun for us as far as :
    -silver lake it is open our trucks will easily make it and its a way pretty drive
    -forest lake... you''ll want a passenger to watch for boulders, and maybe want sliders, it is a TRUE 4X4 trail most the time in low low! my trucks made it a few times but you WILL GET rockymountian pinestripes! but other then that VERY PREETY VIEW!
    -tibble fork is always packed so i'd vote stop at silver lake instead...
    -the mines are eh, theres a big swamp up there ( can't play in it but normally can find some mud :D
    -cascade springs = fishing
    -timpinooki / face of timp= just pretty drive mainly that we'd have to turn around eventually kinda takes you no where though i do fine my self coved in mud everytimethere:cool:
