3rd South Padre Island, TX Meet 07/21/2012

I'll bring the awesomeness that is me AND the cooler with cokes, burger patties, and bread. I don't have a portable grill though.

 

Chalk me up as a maybe, if I'm in town, and IF I still even have the tacoma.

 

Anyone in the Central Texas area want to meet up earlier on the 21st and hit the 6 hour drive together? I'm stationed at Ft. Hood, maybe a good meet up in Austin or SA somewhere?

 

I'll roll with you Leg, I'm at Hood as well.

 

I'm in SA (Lackland) and will ride with you guys, if you want to swing down this way.

I dont know what I'm going to bring exactly... but I can bring random food and muchies.

Sooner - I don't see why we (Battle & I) couldn't swing by SA to pick you up and anyone else that wants to go down, just gonna take some good planning.

I don't want to jinx it, but the first year we made this happen 16 ppl said they were going, only about 5-6 showed up.

Last year 13 tacos were on the list, 7 showed up.



I'm really hoping that many more show up this year. The going and maybe lists are both bigger this year than the last two years.

COME ON guys, let's make this happen!!!!!

 

I'm down for a convoy. Any chance you guys wanna roll Friday? I got a 4 day and wanna use the most of it @ SPI. Off topic did you guys hear the update on the 670-1? 3 Corps is already "implementing" the new standards. Now I gotta wear stupid shiny officer rank, IR flag and potentially get my hand tattoo lasered off.

Junky- I'll bring cups, eating utensils, napkins, garbage bags and half a dozen big bags of chips w/ assortment of dip.

Yeah they are cracking down on 670-1 really hard and really fast that sucks. You talking about shinny rank on the PC?

 

Well LMK, if your squad leader isnt a dick he will give your safety brief after lunch. If block leave starts sat for you technically you can start movement the day prior. All that is required is to work half a day, until 1100hrs.

Yah shiny rank on PC for Garrison, duty location for me is N.Fort I hope that counts as outside of garrison. My S3 also said IR flags will be worn in garrison now, you gotta be frakn kiddn me!

 

I am the closest so I will bring the grill. Its not huge, but should be able to get the job done. I will also bring out some burger patties, and hot dogs and buns.
