Hey everybody, how's it going?

I hope all of you on the "going" list are still up for the trip!!!




I've been hella busy with school, and here I thought that having only 3 summer classes was gonna be a breeze. More like 16 week courses crammed into ten weeks. Not too bad though, it's keeping me busy.

I have yet to install the fogs on my bumper. I don't think I'll be getting the sliders installed anytime soon either.

How's y'alls summer going?

ok so i can commit to a hitch bbq pit, lights, tables, some chairs, fishing gear, some ice chests, and good times! anybody plan on camping out? can anybody provide a generator? i can if need be if others bring gas!

 

I think I'm a scratch....I was so pumped. I got my trailer done (paid $1100) for this trip only to find out a good friend of mine is getting married in Houston on 7/20. This sucks. I've been thinking about this for months now. What to do.......

For those that are taking off Saturday morning:



Meet up somewhere in SA around 7 am, head out 7:15-7:30 am, then meet up with others in Corpus, head out together, then when we hit Harlingen we can wait at the Harlingen Travel Information center for the guys from the Mcallen area. *should be noon-ish by then*

After that we can head out together to SPI, and once we get to Port Isabel, we can wait for another half hour or so at the Wal-Mart parking lot for the late stragglers.

We still have plenty of time to hash out the details. I plan on having all the times set for meet ups atleast two weeks prior to the meet. Let's hear y'alls opinions, especially if there's guys/gals from Austin, or Houston area. So we can get our shit together ahead of time.

I think everybody should post what city they are from (I know most have their location under their username, but some don't). That way atleast people local to each other can agree on a meet up, and head out time.

I haven't been to Padre in quite a while. I would be down for a convoy, but I'm thinking about heading down there Thursday after work. How far down the beach do you guys usually run? I'm assuming you hit the last access point and hit the beach?

 

found a great Asian fusion restaurant in Corpus!

 

We'll drive in through access 5 and drive up the beach towards access 6. Then look for a spot wide enough that will accommodate how ever many of us there are.
