great pics Ink! cant believe you actually got me on camera. I gotta more careful next time. Also I pretty much fell over laughing from the "posed" shots in year 2. Especially the tail gate pose.

Did you have to rough up the surface before spraying? And have you had any problems with it peeling or anything? I really want to do mine as well. For whatever reason, Toyota decided to put the black TRD logo on my tailgate but everything else is chrome as usual. I am either going to black them, or they are coming off.

Ya, I can't remember what brought about the idea of the poses, it was all good fun though. haha

Hopefully next year we can do some silly shots of the entire group!!! and have the trucks more aligned in the shots as well.

I guess 3rd time really is a charm!!! We shall see how many people show up next year. And everybody that knows somebody with a tacoma, show them these pics, and tell them to tag along next year. We really set the bar high for next year!

I will probably give it a shot this weekend. If I "F" it up, I can always just peel em off and be equally happy. :)

What I did.. I used my heat gun and fishing line. Came right off. Then painted 4 coats waited till next morning and re heated the glue and stuck them back on.

To easy. But you have to get right paint. I did my friends and he wanted plasti dip and that worked good also and still holding up after a year.

Interesting.... hadn't thought about the fishing line. Took them off my 2009 with just a heatgun and pulling them off. Broked most of them, but never really intended to put them back on anyway. I will try the fishing line trick, will paint and reheat to put them back on. I am planning on multiple coats of the Plasti Dip Smoke with a gloss coat.

ha, didn't somebody from our group pull him out?

it's funny though, over 20 trucks pass by and no one offered to help, that I know of.
