Took a trip out to the cut today! Its a great drive, and it was a blast pulling out the idiots from the car show on the island that tried to play in the sand. I'll post up a few pics.

Still trying to talk the wife into it. She really wants to vacation down there on our anniversary, July 4th. I want to go later in the month to kick it with yall. I use to do ridiculous car meets with my last car in a club. I really want to kick it with people that were smart enough to buy Tacoma's, and I really need 4x4 friends for when I get stuck lol.

Last year we went to SPI, we got there at 11pm, after the long drive from Dallas I was determined to atleast get my feet wet and walk the beach with my wife. My Taco got stuck in the beach access parking lot we went to at night at about midnight. That was fun to dig it out of. The rest of the week we were driving up and down the beach without a problem. We even took the 2WD Prerunner 28 miles north along the beach to the jetty at the northern most point of the island and back without getting stuck. F*** the 4X4 Only sign at the 5mi point.

I'm about 45 minutes from SPI...have a generator, stand up lights, DeWalt rechargeable radio, canopy, the works...don't see a reason why I wouldn't be able to make it. Got referred here through another thread.
