The exhaust leak will start as a cracked cast iron exhaust manifold, get a post 1998 exhaust manifold usually refered to as a “mini header”. The y pipe will then leak most likely where it meets the manifold, get oem gaskets x2 on top for the ypipe and 1 in the bottom of ypipe, get oem, apply a bead of the orange permatex around the gaskets before and after (wire brush for better seal). Make sure to purchase oem 3 studs 90116-10150 and 3 nuts 90179-10175 I didnt supply the gasket pn cus its pretty easy to locate on website, the studs and nuts were hard to locate hence why I provided them, these studs are the key to getting a tight seal. I was getting a horrible exhaust leak (tap tap tap) this fixed it for me. Also if youre hunting yours down get a blower to the tailpipe and spray soapy water to exhaust pipe to hunt. I made this post because it took me about 2 months to fix, after failed exhaust putty paste patch fix it I finally fixed it the right way. Goodluck.

The Exhaust Pipe Support Bracket 17571-0C050

I believe this is the part that connects to the bellhousing, not sure if it comes with the ring clamp, need to investigate more, also need to find bolt part number aswell. Going to dealership to see if they have a bigger picture exploded view by providing them this pn.

So you can get the metal piece that wraps the y pipe from a 2rz engine but the bracket that attaches to the trans bellhousing you have to get from a 3rz or buy new from dealer, the clamp has no pn, get from junkyard

Here is another tip to super seal the ypipe to the exhaust manifold, using the oem studs and nuts (x6) torque on both sides, you will need to remove the air intake tube and resonator to do this. You can add the bolt aswell from the wheel well
