not a chance thats 6 inches. Still remove the body lift and see how it goes. If your sticking with 31's then remove the AAL too and that may help w/ the driveline angle and could give you a little more umph to the back wheels...

No I have suspension lift as well. My truck sits level and I have an add a leaf in the back and at least 2.5-3 inch lift in the front from either coil overs or spacer or a combo of both. I just don't know much about the shocks I have. It looks to me like a spacer.

Iv thought about removing the AAL, I kind of want a little bit of bro lean. But I worry about how the rear will feel afterward. Iv read before that removing an AAL can make the rear feel mushy because the leaf pack has gotten used to the extra
    Spring.

Alright thanks I will probably pull it out. It's not like I can't put it back either if I don't like how it feels or looks.

Now would that cause alignment issues or anything?

Well I ment more as in if I get that lean towards the back that I'm looking for if that messes up alignment. I imagine it can a little

It sucks huh? I think I'm gonna end up supercharging it in the future. Seems to be the best power option for towing

    you mean 5.29s?

with 5.29s your truck should have stupid low end power (stupid as in really good)

It doesn't feel like it. Maybe it's because my shift points are off? At what rpm does a 4cyl prerunner usually shift?

Well when I stomp on it to enter the freeway my engine screams but I accelerate rather slowly. Cars behind me ride my ass and if I'm up to speed and I want to pass someone It takes for ever.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Why re-gear for a stock tire size?
I had a TRD 4 banger. 3rz (2.7L) 5 speed auto with locker. It had plenty of power. The 2rz (2.4L) is the 5 lug 4 banger.

The OP shouldn't have a locker because it's a 4 banger with an auto.

Sounds like you just need a tune up. Fresh plugs, some injector cleaner, check that CAT out, maybe a seafoam treatment and a descent tranny flush.

Yeah no locker. And I'd want to regear for smaller tires because i don't like how it's driving and shifting and also I don't like my speedometer being +20mph my governor kicks in at 80mph an that sucks for passing cars on a freeway where the posted speed is 70 and average flow of traffic is 75-80 so I'm always maxed out at all times on my commute

I'd did just pick up a new rear end with stock gearing off of a 01 and it has the trd e-locker so I'm pretty stoked to put that on.

Look at the door jamb for the VIN sticker. It will have the axle code of the stock gearing. It will look something like A03B. I think your truck had 410 gearing IIRC. What the gear code says is what you want. You'll get your "power" back.
