3rz rev limiter

Hey all! I know it’s not good to hit rev limiter, but looking for some help. My 95.5 3rz limiter sounds way different than others I’ve heard… really long bounces off the limiter rather than short and sweet. Previous owner deleted balance shafts, bored over 0.04, cold air intake, header and cat delete. Maybe the odd sounding limiter is caused by a vacuum leak or something of that sort, just lost now and looking for advice, any will help… thanks!
