Does anyone know the part number or where I can order spark plug tubes for a 99 3rz. Not the gaskets the actual tubes.

I have not been able to find anything except the 5vz, are they the same?

Do you mean the spark plugs themselves or the rubber boot that attaches them to the coil?

I would call the dealer they wont charge you for the information alone. They can give you the part number and you can search online. I couldnt tell you if there the same but i remember doing my valve cover gasket and looking at the tubes like i could see someone messing those up haha good luck man

Haha I dinged one and said well looks like I’m replacing them all, then found out how hard they are to find.
Thanks I’ll try the dealer and post the part number up for the next person.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
They're not easy to remove either. Might see if you can fix the ding well enough to seal

Toyota does not sell the tubes separately from the head.

    Jeff is correct.
I just looked up the tubes and unfortunately the tubes are only sold with the head.
Maybe find a used head and apply a little heat to the metal around the tube so that it will expand a little and pull the tube out? Just my .02.

Bumping this, can't seem to find much information out on these tubes. Broke a spark plug off in the head, then broke a screw extractor off in the broken spark plug... 300k miles thought it could use some new gaskets anyway so pulled the head, but now how to most easily get back to a clean spark plug hole... One (but just one) website on a search suggested that the tubes are threaded and could be removed with a pipe wrench. Others say they are pressed in. Has anyone here successfully removed the spark plug tubes from the 3rz head? Thanks

drive the extractor out, soak that mofo with Kroil, can be bought at Napa, get a righr handed extractor (not those twisty crappy ones, the tapered ones with edge) warm with mapp gas or propane torch and back it out (clockwise from that side) I wish I was near, Id have it out in ten minutes

Wish you were too! Ha thanks, yeah it's getting the extractor out that's the trouble right now, it's broken off flush down in the tube and not sure how to get a bit started on the pointed end. One of the other plugs was rusty so pretty sure that's what's going on rather than cross-threaded

Most likely it'll come to that, a drillpress would be great right about now
