I'm almost dead set on buying the Alpine supercharger for my 2004 Tacoma Prerunner ext cab 2.7L. I plan on using the extra HP/Tq for towing a boat around and hauling small loads on a trailer.

My truck has the 3rz 2.7L engine with an automatic with 80,000 miles. My only concern would be is it ok to run a supercharger on the automatic transmission? I already installed an additional tranny cooler (B&M 70264) in series with the current one in the truck. I have searched and found other people with automatics and the TRD supercharger, but have yet to read any info on the long term affects on the transmission or any other component of the truck. Should I have the valve bodies redone to accommodate the supercharger?

Would anyone not recommend this addition to my truck?

    Thanks,
    Jason
