    Hey y'all

I have a rattle noise that is only audible once the engine has warmed up. It's coming from the timing chain area.

My question is, does the fact that it only rattles when WARM indicate anything?

I really don't want to have to drop the oil pan to do the timing chain:)

Truck has 210K on it, cylinder head was replaced 5K miles ago.

I've done it once without removing the oil pan, but I will say it was a pain.

I have a 2rz that has timing chain rattle at idle. Has been doing it for 100k miles... It's kinda annoying to listen to, but from what I can tell it's just bumping the guide.

Your tensioners are shot...do the chains, tensioners and check the gears. Especially, at those miles.
