3rzfe knock sensor help

    Bit of a thread revival, I’m going down a similar rabbit hole. Could you clarify where you found that sketchy splice? On my sensor end of the harness, the wire going to the connector for the knock sensor is grey, and it disappears into a larger blue/yellow casing wire before going in to the rest of the loom.

    it was a ways down into that wire loom you’re talking about. I noticed that the color of the wire at the sensor was a different color than the color at the ecm. I peeled that loom back to have a closer look and got that wire out, found some sketchy looking electrical tape job and the worst “splice” I’ve ever seen. Hope this helps!
