got them in, looks like they’ll time fine...
I’ll update the post whenever I manage to get the rest of the timing components
Dizzy notch is no issue here either

[IMG] Driver side all in. Need to find a dowel pin for this intake cam. Didn’t notice it was missing. But once again looks like timing shouldn’t be an issue, and the lobes clear everything in the head, no Clearance for the valve buckets needed

It’s been talked about for years with no pictures of them installed. These cams come out of a car with a much higher power band. So the 3.4s with supercharger would benefit from these. Sacrifice some low end, for a lot more top end.

It’s a spare engine and I had the cams, so really just something to take up my night. But if this runs good and make a noticeable difference I’ll probably be running these in my truck

It’s more talked about in the mr2 world. But still have yet to see proof it’s been done. I’m sure it has. But not document that I can find

Kudos to you for doing it and documenting it. I just did cam gears in my truck to help with exhaust scavenging. How long till this is up and running?

Do you have measurements of the lobes out of curiousity?

That I do not. I’ll see if I can dig up the specs in TIS

Some of these older cars had those measurements hidden in documents

Lobe height is one thing but the duration and lobe profile is what needs to be known. Only way to get that is a degree wheel and a dial indicator.

@RedManRocket is currently building one with these cams too, good chance his will be running before mine. But we shall see. This is my side project, his is his main project. Lol

I’m still trying to see if I can find a Camry in the junkyard without a trans so I can steal the crank too

Lol I'm dreading removing the crank lol.
I got all the way to the crank on a motor in the junkyard after 8 hours and then realized I had no 12 point sockets for the connecting rods. Went and got some, came back the next day and the car got moved from the yard to the crusher
