So one day, all of my power windows stopped working with the exception of the driver's. All the fuses to the left of the steering wheel are good. Any ideas why this may have happened? Fortunately they are stuck in the up position. 2012 D.C. TRDS PR.

I don't know about Tacomas (my 1st gen doesn't), but I had a car before that had a button that would lock all of the power windows except for the driver's window...to keep passengers or kids from playing with them. Does your truck have that button, maybe it got pressed?

100% the button next/around the lock doors button getting pressed.

It's a really useful button for drunk people in your truck that only want to yell at pedestrians and throw things out the windows.

Could also be a malfunction or loss of power to the master switch--the control in the drivers side door.

Mine was an intermittent loss of power, likely due to two different installs of remote starts since I had owned the truck. After about a year or so of fucking with it, getting a cheap ebay switch replacement IOT troubleshoot, and then some more shenanigan, I simply bypassed the main power to the master switch. That was about three years ago and haven't had a problem since.

My windows did this same thing a few weeks ago, I popped the off the panel that the window switches are on and unplugged the electrical wires and plugged them back in and they worked fine after that. I guess that plug in had just gotten loose

Ha ha I didn't even think about this. I thought these usually just locked out the switches on the other doors, not the master on the driver' door. I bet this is it, thanks!

So as it turns out, I didn't push the button. So I pushed it, which locked them, and the windows didn't work (by design). But then when I unlocked it, back to the original position, it started working again. Weird. Oh well, thanks for bringing my attention to this switch!
