Yep, if I wasn't in an apartment I'd have driven up to meet him already

It is when it's a very small 1br with another very dominant 10 year old lab who doesn't do other dogs

It wouldn't be right in my case to try it

I agree. I wouldn't do it unless the dog was raised in a apt.

Beautiful dog. If we didn't already have 3 furry children and our first human born, I'd be interested in fostering him until a good home is found. I'll pass the information along and will let you know if I find something for you.

Just promise us that you won't do what that asshole, @vbibi did.

Right?! Who the fuck does this? I mean seriously you must be insane dude. I feel bad for that traumatized dog whose life will never be normal. And the kid now thinks that physically abusing a dog and forcing it into the streets to never come back is the right thing to do because daddy said so. Sickening.

Yup. I've said before that I wanted to get rid of my dog just because let's be real, sometimes you wanna pull your hair out!but I would never and could never do that, But if you train your dog everyday and train hard it's SO worth it in the long run. That guy probably never trained his dog and that's why he said the 2x4 thing.

I think the OP has a very valid reason for wanting to rehome his dog, he obviously loved him, trained him, and cared for him. I just hope he goes to a GOOD home. One that won't beat the dog with a 2x4. These dogs need strong confident handlers.

Welp.....looks like we're down a member. We don't take talk of animal abuse on this site. That whole "legal" and "laws" thing we mention from time to time.....

Nice shepherd, if you were closer I would take him in a second. Paid over 1500 10 years ago for the shepherd I have now.

Bump. Not having any luck, even with the local GSD adoption service

Very handsome GSD! I hope you find him a happy home. Would love to take him on but I do not think that our 7yr old GSD with his bad knees can handle a young fella like Thor. He's already having to deal with a puppy Schnauzer. I will ask our Vet if he knows of anybody.

PM me if still available. We already have a 1.5y/o GSD and looking for another. Good loving home here with plenty of land to run around (no neighbors either) in a country setting.
