    3.5 lift in rear
I just had to replace my rear leaf springs in my 1996 Tacoma and I got a 3.5.” Lift in the rear, and now i need to get a 4” lift in the front. Do I need new upper control arms? And what is the best-for -the-budget 4” front shock assembly?

4" lift isn't going to happen without drop brackets. 2.5-3" max out of the stock geometry.

Ok. Right when I put them on there was 14” between the tire and the top of the wheel well. I do need 4” lift uca’s though. Anyone know of budget friendly ones?

I’ve never heard of a 4” lift. Most Upper Control Arms max our at 3”. You never go above 3” on stock suspension geometry.

UCAs wont get you to 4" of lift. The angle of the halfshafts wont allow it. And if you're 2wd, youll never get a half ass decent alignment. You will need to do a front diff drop bracket, long travel, or a solid axle swap to get 4" of lift.
