    The carrier bearing part number should be the same for both models.

    SHOULD.

    I never checked part numbers to that extent but I know it will work on the 4x4 models for sure. You may want to cross check your part numbers and make sure the PN is the same for the 2x4 and the 4x4 models. My better intuition based on how Toyota does things says that they are the same.

    Yes I see, I do know the 4x4 and prerunner share some running gear. I will do further research if need be .

    Right now no issues to deal with. Except figuring out what has and has not been replaced on this engine to date.

    I have service history on the car fax report but it only shows dealer service and mileage it does not show what
    was done at said intervals. So I can only assume a schedule was followed. How closely is a crap shoot.
