    2014 Tacoma SR5 4x4 DC SB V6 AT Tow Pkg Entune+ Mostly stock with a few OEM mods.
    Stock (99.999%) OEM Bed Floor Mat, Front Bed Rail Cargo Net and hooks, Auto-Dim mirror w/Compass and outside Temperature display, TRD Pro Grille, Uni-Filter air pump modification, WeatherTech floor liners f/r. OEM All-Weather floor mats (summer).
    Mine is quiet. Perhaps a little more noise when it's started cold but not much, and I only take notice of it (occasionally) when it's idling someplace and I'm not in the truck. When I'm inside the cabin, stationary or moving along: it's quiet and idles smoothly with no vibration or shake (confirmed when observing the engine when the hood is up). Some drama and noise when I floor it and it drops a couple of gears, but who cares? Sweet sound to to me! I wish I could hear it outside of it: i.e. if I was following behind it.

    It's a Lexus V6: Enjoy it and don't worry about it just like Lexus owners do: for the next 200,000 (+) miles. (minimum) :thumbsup:

    minor tweaks
    2 things I did that really quieted down the motor;

    It had developed a bit of valve clatter over the last 40K when accelerating away on anything but a very easy acceleration, only when cold though and only within the first mile of driving then it went away. I usually let it warm up about 30 seconds and drive away easily. I poured in 6oz of sea foam in the oil 1000mi before an change, the valve clatter went away before I even got to the point of changing the oil, it hasn't come back. The other thing and what made the most improvement was changing out the idler pulleys and bearing in the serpentine belt tensioner. The pulley noise had increased slowly over time so it's was a subtle and not so noticeable until it wasn't there any more. Now all I really hear is the slight ticking from the injectors. I was surprised how much of a difference those two things made.

    I first noticed the pulleys when I was swapping the serpentine belt, there was a very minimal amount of rocking (bearing play) in the idler pulleys but they still spun and rolled very freely, after doing some research I discovered when checking them that way they should roll a little when spun by hand but stop pretty soon after, if they continue to roll it's a sign that most of the grease has dried or worked it way out of their bearing. Truck has 150K.
