i bought a wicked flow max 13 inch. i am very happy with the sound. there is absolutely no rice sound with it. to me it feels like there is a little more on the top end, but i have nothing to back that up. i wanted a flow thru instead of the flowmaster design and i didnt want the rice sound. at first i thought i made a mistake getting it because it was a little louder than i wanted, but its grown on me and i love the growl i get from it. they do make a 22 inch so you could get a more quiet on. i love that i spent 80 bucks on the muffler and 50 to have it put in. made them put the stock pipe after the muffler back on and if i decide to dump it i can always do it myself with a hacksaw.

just in case you want this, i got it from www.bearriverconverters.com

    Two more questions:
Does the aftermarket muffler need to be welded in to place?
Does the aftermarket muffler pose any threat regarding passing emissions tests?

    The better coast
I would weld it on, I have heard clamps leak a bunch. And im pretty sure a muffler will say if its like "50 states legal" or something. I've never had an afermarket one :notsure:

also check out the aeroturbine 2525 I have heard nothing but good things from people with them.

Just get the aero man haha. I've had wicked flows (max and kamikaze), flowmaster, and Magnaflow and nothing comes close to the aero and MANY ppl on this site can atest. If you don't want it that loud then get the one with the resonator.
