The Toyota Canadian site still says "(premium fuel)" next to the FJ hp and torque numbers: http://www.toyota.ca/cgi-bin/WebObjects/WWW.woa/32/wo/Q4RpPScxfoF9ncenJ8ZWEM/5.7?v125040e.html

The information looks a little too detailed to be bunk... The Toyota Australian site lists the HiLux with premium fuel hp and torque numbers, and it lines up with the Wikipedia numbers: http://www.toyota.com.au/TWR/content/static/83267.pdf Endnote 5 says the power and torqure are obtained with 95+ RON fuel, which is 91 pump octane here. Endnote 11 says "For improved vehicle performance, the use of premium unleaded petrol with a RON of 95 or higher is recommended."

To the OP, wouldn't you rather have the new 4.6L V8 in the 2010 GX460?

    301 hp @ 5500 rpm
    329 lb-ft @ 3500 rpm
