'05 Taco 4.0 needs head gasket.

Dealer wants $473 for the "improved" headgasket kit (not including head bolts), seems a little steep... O'Reilly wants $236 (not OEM, obviously)

Anyone got an idea where to order a genuine Toyota OEM gasket kit for a better price than $473?

Did O'riellys offer replacement head bolts? If not, put them on the list.

As the OEM are torque to yield, and stretch quite a bit, during the torque sequence process. They should be replaced.

@Torspd, thanks for the quick reply. Yes, head bolts are on the list, not worried about getting them from O'Reilly's, etc. [BTW- Dealer wanted $16/per bolt for 16 bolts= $256, O'Reilly's and other parts stores are around $8-9/bolt]

Was just looking for best price on a factory/OEM head gasket kit since the dealer wants $473.00

Good news!- Toyotapartsstore.com has factory/OEM headgasket kits for $213.

Has anyone dealt with Toyota Parts Store before? Are they legit?
