Damn.... Did you pick up this 4.30 elocker? If not I'm currently looking for one. I've got a 06 with elocker but 3.73 ratio. Looking to jump to 4.30 but like others have said are hard to find since they typically came from the 4runner limiteds. If you didn't buy, mind passing me the info? Provided seller would ship.

Btw any 80/90wt gear oil should suffice for rear axles.

You'll need a new pinion flange for the driveshaft on your truck if the third member comes from a 1st gen - they're drilled differently than 2nd gens' driveshafts.

Good to know. I figured elocker to elocker was the same. I can always cross drill too.

Yeah if you have the confidence to do so go ahead! They're off by 6mm, but there's more than enough room to cross drill for sure :)

No, I decided to rebuild mine, was too Leary to order and have it shipped cross country from a salvage yard. I found it in San Diego (El Cajon ) to be exact at a salvage yard on Commercial rd. A&B truck recycling 619-234-5171 spoke to Chris I believe. he wanted 450.00, hope you can get it. He would ship it but you will need to arrange the pick up and get the insurance on it as he would not be responsible for any loss.
