4.56 vs 4.88 Gears

    Don't people who wanna run 35s go with 4.88s?

    I would for a V6. But 4.56s would work and be good for hwy.

    I'm running 285/75/16's, and do moderate off roading a couple times a month. During the summer I haul a 18ft bass boat around. Would 4.88's be too aggressive?

    i went with 4.56. The 88s require $400 more for the new front clamshell. 56 with 285s at 70 i was running close to 2500 rpm. With 35s i am at 2200. I would get the 56s

    Any suggestions on who I should go through when purchasing gears?

    And one more thing, when swapping out gears; is it pretty much just pull out the stocks and install the aftermarket ones. Or is it going to be more in depth then that?
