    I've seen this build. It's awesome but uses the non vvti engine that doesn't share the transmission with our 4.0L V6.

    That wouldn't pass smog here where I am and I'm trying to stay legal

    So which motor is it that does mate to our 4.0 V6 transmission? just the 2UZ single VVTI correct? And this means that you get a V8 5 speed auto tacoma at that point then! OP how much exactly did this conversion cost you? And any issues mounting the 5 speed A750 to the 4.7 at all? I have read custom mount plates may need to be machined for it to work properly.

    The vvti 2uz share the a750 the only thing you need to change from the taco a750 is the bell housing

    I'm guessing the a750 is the 4cyl auto? So would this bolt up to the 4cyl 5spd transmission?

    What's the intake piping look like? I can imagine that turbo will be seeing some serious mud and water. I'm curious how it will like that abuse.
