Loads of room there, single exhaust outlet to turbo, makes sense.

The V8 is around 250lb or more heavier than the 4banger. How did this change the handling?

What did you do to beef up the front frame and suspension?

Nothing was done to the frame or suspension as for handling I've done a bunch or 115 mph drives with no issues.

Yes. That was my orginal set up the only reason I switched is because I set my motor further back so the fan clutch wasn't engaging cause it wasn't getting the correct temperature off the radiator

As in an A750F? IMO yes, an A750F is an A750F, doesn't matter what vehicle it came from, it's an A750F. Is that what the dealer or other people say? Not quite. I've been searching for a replacement 750F to my 06 1GR, and I've been told over and over and over that only 05-07 a750f's will work with my 06. No one can tell me why though. I'm currently sitting on a 2012 t4r a750f with manual shift tcase that I'm planning to swap into my 06 Tacoma despite everyone saying it won't work. :notsure:
Worst case, I'll just swap the tcase.

If your wondering if you can just buy the 2uz and if it will bolt up to your current a750f, I'm gonna say that's a 99% yes. You may need to find a bellhousing for the 2uz for your current transmission as the 1gr bellhousing could be different. It's about 10 or Sol bolts to switch bellhousings on the a750.

Does your tach read accurately? After 1UZ swapping an IS300, the tach functioned but not accurately. Will the Tundra ECU communicate properly with the ABS ECU?
