4.88 or 5.29 on a MT Tacoma

    2020 Tacoma TRD Off Road 4X4
    295/70/17 King 2.5 w Adjusters 3” lift w Add a Leaf
    I have a 2020 Tacoma TRD off road 6 speed manual transmission I plan on re gearing soon I have 295/70/17 no armor and it’s my weekend warrior what ratio should o go with I plan on upgrading to 35s in the future with maybe sliders and tube steel bumpers if I go 5.29 now will it be too much or should I do 4.88 and rehear again once I have the 35s? Please help!

    re-gear costs around $3k so it's something you'd like to do just once. most people with the manual seem to go with 4.88

    also "help" in a thread title is usually reserved for those who are stranded, stuck, or otherwise need immediate assistance.
