    Hi all,

I'm running some 4 awg cable into the cab side of my bed, probably coming in just under the bed rails.

I have some OCD. Are there any pass throughs or entry glands anyone can suggest to keep it neat and tidy (and ideally somewhat sealed)?

The cable I'm running is about 0.305" in diameter and there will be two of them

    Thanks for any help!

    Scott

May not be what your looking for, but you could get a flush mount anderson plug. Then mount that to your bed to allow you to unplug whatever it is your powering. You can run your 4 awg wire to it, then getting the matching plug for the other side you can run cables to your device.

I like this idea a lot. I've got a Renogy DC-DC charger that is going to charge my starting battery and service battery.

This looks like it would make things easy to take my battery setup out when not in use...

Its always nice to not have cables flopping around when your not using them. Especially if they are running right from the battery.

Do you have a link to the 4 awg? My Google-Fu appears to be weak!

I've got the cable but have struggled a little bit (OVER THINKING!) with where to run the cable from the battery to the bed. I presume you're just running underneath the truck through the transmission tunnel? That's what I'm considering....

I'm just going to throw it in some wire loom and strap it to the frame with some zip ties. Easiest way I've found to do it!

Anyone actually install one of these panel mount anderson connectors in a tacoma bed? Where did you locate it? The drivers side cubby is an option, but I’d like to keep it as close to the engine as possible, maybe on the side above the wheel well.
