Yeah it is, I commute about 50 miles a day. The 2.7 is a bit sluggish in the Hills where i live but the manual makes it better. It has 215k miles so far on it and I don't plan on selling it. The truck is perfect for my needs:thumbsup:

My commute is 130 miles a day and thank the lord I don't have to drive my truck everyday and run up all those miles. Look at the LCE header. I live in the foothills of the Blue Ridge and wander up into the mtns here regularly. I installed the header a couple of months ago and boy what a difference it made for me. I have a 2.7 automatic and have noticed it doesn't downshift nearly as much even with heavy assed tires (87 pounds apiece) it really improves lower end torque.

Interesting you mention LCE, ive been considering a set of these, and from what ive read, they seem to work well with the 2.7. I was also considering supercharging it in the near future so i could get some more power. Im thinking some headers and a supercharger would wake it this thing up!

I can't speak to the sc as they are like stupid exspensive. The LCE is an incredibly well made product and direct bolt in to the engine and stock exhaust system. Check out their install video on youtube. A buddy in the 50+ thread has a first gen with the sc and Doug Thorley header and says it out runs v6's so pick your poison I guess. LCE also makes a cat back system for these trucks

ill check out the video, thanks for the tip. I was gonna buy a v6 but eventually changed my mind and decided to just slap a sc on and save some money vs buying another. Itd be cool to be able to outrun a stock 4.0. Those kind of numbers from a 4 cyl is impressive

What were your alignment numbers like for castor. The picture makes it appear your front wheels are sitting toward the back of the wheel well. Any rubbing?

Don't remember the castor, they have set back like that from day 1. no rubbing, I stuck the 265/75R16 on before I lifted her and have never rubbed.
