Steelers looked like garbage last week...But I'm pretty sure they'll bounce back. Big Ben is the back-up on my fantasy team. :p

And how many gallons did you fill on that tank?

425 'til the light came on?

If so that would be ~25 MPG. ;)

I uhhh...haven't filled up yet. :) Tomorrow morning.

The light came on as I was on my way home, about a 15 minute drive. I had to get home and say goodnight to the kid though.

Yup, that was my absolute best. 0-60 took a whole minute lol. I babied the crap out of it.

I have yet to reach that MPG again lol. Been using a lot of a/c, and heavy footing to keep up with traffic :p

I'm going to guess that it will end up being 417.3 equivalent miles and 17.658 gallons. :p

Very nice. For now I'm cheering for Rodgers...but I'm still an Eagles fan through and through.

Hahaha...ah, the joys of a manual trans.

Im to lazy to look it up so i will just ask here, what is the stock HP/Tq rating for you guys using the 2TR motors? It looks to be better on gas then the old RZ motors like what im running, that or i have a heavy foot :D.

Nope, your air filter and carbon filter are no where near as restricting as the throttle plate on the intake that keeps your engine under control.

Studies using controlled environments agree, no gain, even extremely restricted air intakes don't reduce mpg.

Comfirmed in some peoples mind with no measured gain by those that have tried. There is simply no reason it should or could with closed loop fuel injection.

But oh man the increased throttle response is unreal!!!!!!! ;)

It actually makes more sense that a restricted air cleaner uses less fuel because less air = less fuel, with the trade off of less power.

I have my secondary filter removed because I wanted a little more sound and throttle response.

I also replaced my stock filter with an AFe drop-in filter...mainly because it has a million-mile warranty, so there's no need to ever replace it. Just clean it and go.

    More pics BTW:

I knowm this is off of your guy's current topic ,but, how are the 5-lud's in the snow....I presume with LSD?.I've read alot of posts....most folks go-on and on and on about their extra stuff added to their truck and how it helps....just want to know of a non-modded unit.

I put 4 bags of tube sand in the bed of mine when it's snowy. I've been driving 2wd trucks for 23 years in WI, IA and CO without much fuss in snow. No LSD.

I've got the auto-LSD in my 5 lug and I got through multiple snow storms last winter. I only came close to being stuck one time, but I backed up and go some speed to go through it. This is all with stock tires BTW...which will be replaced very soon.

They perform surprisingly well in the snow, especially with a manual trans.
