thanks. it kind of makes me rethink of purchasing icons instead of just getting the spindles and keep my ome coils, but the icons are adjustable.

I might do this when I find some spindles cheap enough

Would a 2005 Tacoma with the Ultimate Lift Kit from Toyteclifts
( ) require any additional lift in the rear to make it level with the front on the truck if the Camburg Spindles were installed?

    It's the wife's T4R so it's stock
Yes. With that combo, you'd be pushing 6 to 7 inches of lift in the front (assuming the toytec coilovers were set at 3").

Wow, that much? What would be the best option to lift the rear with? I see that the OP has blocks in the rear but I would like to avoid those if possible. Also, with that much clearance I am assuming that tires bigger than 33s can fit under there :p

I have the TSB, aal, and a 1" block. It actually rides quite well. I just took the truck off road yesterday and it performed very well and lots of flex!!!

looks good, but now you need some 315/65/18s instead of those 285s or whatever.

I was thinking more like 305/65/18 BFG makes em and they are a 34" tire. :D

06blue...what you got your coilovers set to? I got the 4" Camburg Lift Spindles and Camburg Coilovers on order and was planning on setting the coilovers to 1" for a total of 5" in the front. Let me know if that's similar to what you got? I also got 3.5" rear leaf pack on order too so that it'll level the front and rear.

that will look and perform very well. I had Allied spindles, which are now camburg on my previous truck with Donahoe coilovers, which are now ICon on my previous taco. Very nice indeed, just make sure your leaf packs are made to not be stiff as a board. I make that mistake by buying the OME leaf pack.

since this thread is so far offtopic, i'll just add to it...

mistake? if your doing normal driving and hauling...dakars are where its at! why do you say any different?

if your doing desert running and such, then yea, you would want deavers.

You can do either with teh camburg spindles. Currently I am not running the sway bar.

Ok I have a few questions? Can I run the camburg Spindles and a 2in spacer in front?
What would I need in the rear to level this out?

Also I want Glass front fenders. Can you run 2in wheel spacers to get the wider track to fill the fenders?

yep. you would then have 6" lift in front. you would need 4" rear lift to be level.

...but since you want glass in front and 2" wheel spacers, im guessing your going for the "bro" look, so just the OEM leafs or TSB leafs will get you that!!
