No TRD trucks had the 4 cyl. engine. But, Yes, the 4x4 shocks/springs will work on similar year Prerunners.

The struts are off of a 99 4x4 and the Prerunner is a 2000. They should fit but will it be a softer ride? I have Donahoe struts on it right now and need to send them in to be rebuilt and don't have the original struts. I just need something to get me buy for a couple of weeks. Should I use a spacer lift to keep my lift?

It may sag a little as the 4 cyl. engine has a little bit softer springs.
