I am in the market to purchase a new Tacoma AC this fall and going back and forth about what engine to get. Normally, I take care of all the routine engine maintenance on our vehicles and wondered which of the Tacoma 4 cylinder or 6 cylinder engines are easier to work on. In other words, does ease of maintenance favor one engine over the other?

    Would appreciate your thoughts..

General maintenance on the V6 is easy. Im sure its easy as well on the 4. I would purchase more so on your needs though as opposed to maintenance. 4 cylinder for a bit better fuel mileage. V6 for hauling and towing.
