    Not much on mods - Leer 180, TRD wheels, Mobtown sliders, rear hitch, helper springs on the rear
    @AdventureNorth - Does your Tacoma have a manual transmission? If you mount the tent relatively low to mid-hi on a bed rack - so that the tent is mostly out of the airstream - I don't see a problem, even with a full kit of other gear. It's a truck and should haul a 1/4 ton with no issues.

    Well this escalated quickly...

    So for the record I get 19-22mpg with all my weight and big tires. It's reg eared to 4.88 and locked the rest of the specs are In my build thread. I do however highly recommend mounting and rtt down low it's super nice on the highway and also protects the tent on the trail.

    If you must mount it up high do yourself a favor pick up a thule or Yakima cross bar and fairing it'll make a huge difference
