ah, didn't know they made catback exhausts:eek:

sounds really good though, especially for a 4 cyl.

this actually sounds kind of similar to my truck just with out the popping and loss of back pressure i have with bolting on the flomaster 40 series. sounds great man! would a header improve my situation do you think or are the fm's just not right for our trucks? btw i'm running everything stock at the moment except for the muffler back exhaust.

OP, if you want to feel better about the truck feeling slow, go test drive a 4cyl 4x4 automatic. You'll feel much better about the 5 speed.

Ya it's a lot less loud at lower RPMs. It doesnt start really roarin until over 3k rpm. I was just steppin on it pretty hard for the video.

A header will do more for you than a catback as far as hp gains - even on these little trucks

You've had it one week now, are you getting used to it yet? Or do you still want more noise & power? Also remember it will take 80k miles for a full & complete break-in, many people report getting better & better fuel economy over this period which means the engine is making better use of the fuel, and potentially more power. The engines are run-in at the factory but of course they still break-in some more after that, over time.

easiest and cheapest mod to increase power is the deck plate mod... I did it on my 4 cylinder and it makes a difference.

Here you go buddy... everything you need to know. You should do it, it really makes a difference in power. I did it to my 4 cylinder and I feel a difference. Its suppose to increase your MPG too. It also sounds a little better!!!

I put west covina because almost everyone is unfamiliar with la puente but they're familiar with west covina...we should meet up sometime and talk trucks man! Let me know if you want to do the deck plate mod and need help man, I'll help you out!

    K&N panel/ snorkel removed Keyless

    Ditto.

I opted to just remove my snorkel and install KN panel. I saw a bit of difference and picked up a little more audible growl in the engine. There's some dyno data on the Deckplate mod with high filter and it is comparable to a CAI.
