4 cylinders on 33in or 35in

I plan to get a new 2020 Tacoma. It will be SR access cab 4 cylinders engine with 4x4. I don’t know the 4 cyl engine will be able to turn 33in or 35in tires. Have anyone done that before?

 

Your right foot will be on the floor constantly.

 

This is only acceptable in a manual trans.

 

Only if you tell everyone it's a manual, even if they aren't talking to you.

 

The 2.7 will only turn (1) 35. Put it on the right rear.

 

You're gonna need to regear.

 

You also have to work it into every conversation. Every conversation. The more unrelated the topic the better.

 

It's not about number of cylinders, it's about gear ratios.

Hell even my V6 struggles with 33’s. usually 14MPG. Don’t do it.

 

Well the auto has the same ratios as the V6 so I could see it dragging ass.

I don't know the 5 speed ratios, or the rear end!

Seriously though, any stock Taco on 35's is gonna be a dog.
