Well it has a 2JZ-GE, no swap on the 2JZ-GTE here though... that would be the aristo

 

damn I had a 2004 is300 back in the day. fun car. almost impossible to find a manual one where I live, makes me kick my self for getting rid of it..

Take a peek at ThatDudeInBlue's channel, and the guy who built that 800hp is300... they mention it a couple times in there reviews.

Sorry if you think the post is misinformative. Essentially the GE is a GTE, minus a few components that made the Supra/Aristo capable of producing 1000hp+.

But if you wanna swap in a GTE, it's pretty much plug and play. I'm not a guy that's into that, and would prefer to build the original

I had an '83 Supra automatic. Basically it was a Camry with a hatch.
That car was a disappointment, but it's not like you could do internet research back then.
