I have a 14 DCLB and I want to install 4 Dually D2s on the existing factory circuit. Has anyone done this without issue?

    2 X D2 Driving - 2.5 amp draw (ea) - 34.5 watts
    2 X D2 Hyperspot - 1.45 amp draw (ea) - 20.1 watts

I tried to search, maybe I chose the wrong words but couldn't find anything.

If you happen to have some helpful advice please le me know, I want to get this project behind me, wiring is not my forte...

If you're looking to get rid of your factory fog lights and wire those in their place, it should work just fine. If you're looking to piggy back on a circuit without removing anything, that's not a good idea. Which circuit are you looking to use?

Too many to list, and I've probably forgotten a bunch.
Factory lights are 55W each. Your install is going to be a bit below that in terms of wattage, and assuming the amperage #’s are accurate, you’ll be comfortably below 10A of current. This is assuming you use the same wiring and circuit.

So assuming you pull the factory lights out and just use those 4, great. If you want the factory lights AND those 4, no. You’re going to double your current draw and two things will happen. First, you’ll pop the factory fuse. If you replace that with a higher rated fuse, you’ll just melt wires and cause other problems.

Awesome, I have a plate bumper and the factory fogs are not going to be used. These 4 will take the place of the factory fogs.

The amp draw and wattage is directly off the package...

My intent was to connect to the factory harness at the same place the factory fogs connected.

You should be fine with that setup!

Thanks guys, it did work great and easy. Eventually I am going to wire each set up to an independent switch but for now they are functional...
