4 ohm speakers wired for 2 ohm

How do you do this? Or can you?

I'm looking to replace my stock speakers and amp them up. Looking at the Punch 400 and it's rated at 100W x4 @ 2ohms or 50W x4 @ 4ohms. I was looking at some 4ohm Polk Audio components and are rated for 100W RMS.

So, I'd like to wire this up to take advantage of the 2ohm power. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Your not able to using 4 ohm drivers, at least with what your trying to accomplish. For the amp to "see" a 2 ohm load you would need to wire to 4 ohm drivers in parallel (postitive to positive and negative to negative) at which point you would need a total of 8 drivers to have all 4 channels of the amp to put out its 2ohm rated power. So, I think you would actually be better off bridging the amp to just the front speakers (bridging in laymans terms parallels the outputs inside the amp) and they would be getting about 200wrms each. If you are worried about that being too much power, you can always adjust the gain on the amp to limit the power. I prefer double to triple rated power on my speakers but you need to know what your listening to.
