I might be able to help myself if I knew the proper nomenclature for these connectors.

What is the question here? You want to know how to de-pin the connector?

I need to swap out the connector so I can mate it properly.

What do I need to do?

What considerations are needed when moving from 4 pin to 8 pin?

Is there a different end terminal?

Do I need to get a kit of some sorts?

Do you have a useful video that shows me this?

That really doesn't help me help you.

    What are these on?

What exactly are you trying to accomplish?

You need a male connector on one end, those are both female connectors

These are on a wiring harness.

As stated, I'm removing the 4 pin connector and moving it to a 8 pin connector.

The 4 pin on the left are on the harness.

The 8 pin connector is what I'm needing to replace it.

I feel like if you need this much clarification and don't understand the ask then you wont be of much assistance.

Thanks for posting on this thread. Let’s maybe let someone else read and respond?

    This thread discusses.

you may want to clarify if you’re an old truck taking the new 8 way connector tailgate or a new truck taking an old 4 way tailgate. Or doing something with just the camera but equivalent.
