Bought the Hopkins 4 pin wire harness for my '14 Tacoma. For some reason I'm not getting 12 volts at the plug. Anyone have this issue or know what might cause it?

    Joe,

Could you be a little more specific? For instance I get 11.5v on my multimeter or I get 9v on my multimeter. Could be you are not getting a proper ground connection when testing.
Could be your battery or charging system is acting up....???
Maybe someone could better help you with more information from you.

Basic trouble shooting suggests you trace back your wire circuit till you do get a 12v reading...then go forward to the 4 pin connector and see if there is some poor connection or poor ground.

A wire piercing probe can be handy so you don't end up poking holes in your wire insulation and then having to patch them.

If you do end up piercing your insulation then liquid tape...Lowes or Home Depot... can seal the spot unless you intend to submerge the wiring as in a boat trailer application or you are really wet/marine climate; then its splice and shrink wrap.

That said these can be a real bitch, especially if the problem is intermittent
