For jack STANDS read the instructions carefully. Some are rated per pair and so the rated load per stand is half of the amount on the package.

I bought these Craftsman 21" high lift 3ton jack stands. Thats 3 tons per pair, so 1500lbs each.

I got curious about the ProLift 3 ton 21" jack stands I have and looked at the warning labels and manual. Nothing is mentioned about them being rated per pair.

I called ProLift and they confirmed that the rating is 3 tons for the pair and they are intended to be used in sets. Same with all the rest of their jackstands The load ratings as a pair may be standard practice.

In reality it shouldn't matter on these trucks unless you're using one jack stand to support one end of the vehicle which you shouldn't be doing anyway. But definitely heads up if any of you are using these on commercial vehicles or anything like that. Also remember that when you're lifting a vehicle you'll almost never be lifing exactly 1/2 of the curb weight. Depending on the vehicle the front can weigh significantly more than the rear or vice versa.
